Green Golden Ruler Cream

My skin has been dry recently, possibly due to the weather in my area and climate change (I have combination skin/oily t-zone). I originally used cetaphil's moisturizing face & body lotion, but ever since they came out with a new formula it felt different on my skin, as it wasn't moisturizing enough. So I searched for a simple moisturizing cream, and found this on youtube (from the youtuber IAMKARENO). So far I've been using it for a week straight, and I absolutely LOVE it! (I got this along with other products before my vacation). What I love about this moisturizer is that it doesn't leave a heavy, matte, or dry feel on my skin. I use about a dime size about on my face, and sometimes I re-apply it on dryer areas. When I use this It leaves my skin feeling hydrated, my skin feels baby soft, and it leaves a healthy glow. At first I expected it to feel a bit heavy considering it contains extracted hemp oil, but I hardly felt any oiliness and my skin felt soft rather than greasy. My mother also tried this moisturizer, she loves it as well! Her skin is just as sensitive as mine and it's difficult to find something she can use without irritating her skin. The package arrived fast and safely, it wasn't broken.
P.S. If your skin is extremely oily I suggest to either use this cream at night (if you really want to try it), and use a gel based moisturizer in the morning. If you're skin is dry or combo you should be fine. The moisturizer also contains green tea which is great for soothing sensitive skin.

Wow! Let me start by saying, I have tried an embarrassing amount of moisturizers. This is my absolute top one. For background I have combo acne prone skin. I have found this formula to be hydrating and lightweight. It has a slight scent which I know isn’t for everyone but it smells so good. After a long day I look forward to slapping this on my whole face. Buy it I doubt you will regret it. There entire line is top of the line. This was viral in Korea at one point and for good reason!

First of all, I like the fact that this product is vegan. It fit well on my sensitive skin and was very moisturizing! I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a vegan skin care products!

My skin concerns are quite a mouthful. I have dehydrated, super sensitive, dry-combo skin type that loves breaking out, drying out, clogging up, and flaking out. I have rosacea, hormonal acne, several ingredient sensitivities, and occasional facial eczema. To put it shortly, an absolute MESS.
Gel moisturizer is too light and leaves me dry, creams are too heavy and suffocate my skin, leading to huge acne eruptions. This moisturizer has this beautiful, almost yogurt like consistency that hits that perfect middle ground I've been searching for! It sinks in nicely (a bit slow, but I use it before bed anyway) and has a great amount of moisture and hydration without leaving a greasy layer of of residue to break me out.
I'm on my second container of this stuff without a reaction to any of the ingredients, with fragrances usually being a BIG sensitizer for me so rest assured the scent on this one is not a bad one! Since the scent comes from the beneficial hydrating melon extracts instead of fake perfumes, that makes sense though.
My skin has become so bouncy and luminous since using this product, it has a nice mochi-like elasticity now that's the best it's felt in years! My breakouts are also a lot more tame, not gone entirely, but definitely more manageable.
The only complaint I could possibly think up the first time I reviewed this (on Sokoglam) was that I wish it wasn't in an open mouth jar for sanitary purposes; and despite what the listing image shows, my second batch actually came in brand new packaging, a much more sanitary squeeze tube like you see in face wash! So I can now say on my second review after scraping my first jar clean, that the formula and new packaging officially make this the BEST thing I have ever put on my face!!! Just buy it, seriously

Tried so many different products and this moisturizer is the one of best product on my skin. It makes my skin soft and moisturized for long period of time. Best product for the price.

I love this with a bit of water. Skin chaged after about a month. Use it sparingly it can be built to suit skin hydration.
Scent is lite and slightly sweet.
Sheerness is invisible. Oily skin be wary. You can feel this working. Perfect for rebalancing

Very hydrating and it smells so good!

This line has a clean, kind of aquatic fragrance that reminds me of fresh cut aloe Vera. I’ve never been in big believer in using face products that smell good. I’m fragrance sensitive and don’t trust the industry’s allowance of pretty much anything in “fragrance”. I am also a huge fan of K-beauty. This product line has no added fragrance so the wonderful smell must come from the ingredients themselves. I would honestly wear a perfume of what this face care line smells like. It’s a fresh, green smell but not like grass or herbs. Just super clean. The cream is moisturizing with a consistency of a night cream. I do feel like it does a good job of replenishing moisture as the matching face wash can be a bit drying. This cream is deeply moisturizing but you can control the weight by using less or more product. I use about a pea for daytime and a little more for night. If you use too much, it leaves a noticeably dewy finish. I like to play around with the amount I use to get just the glow I’m looking for. It came with a little clear spatula with a small leg on the back so the scoop is slightly elevated and not sitting directly on a surface. I do wish there was some way to fix the spatula to the top, bottom or side of the jar itself. The packaging of this stuff is legit. It’s a super thick corrugated cardboard that feels really high quality with cute printing but is apparently recyclable. The jar is glass with a plastic lid. I use this with the face wash and toner from the same line. Highly recommend all the products as I have been thrilled with them all.

I've tried a couple other products by Chasin' Rabbits and I really love every one of them. This label is dedicated to younger people and the problems that they must contend with, most often, oily and problematic skin. Though I'm older, I too sometimes still have to deal with some of those issues, especially now with having to wear a mask everywhere and the maskne they can cause. The other products I've used from Chasin' Rabbits are great for that.
But I have to say that this face cream is a whole other ball of wax, so to speak. It's very good, but I would suspect that a lot of those younger folk will only end up passing this along to their older relatives and friends. Unlike most of their other products, this one is made for drier skin. Like the other products, it is good, but not necessarily for the same skin types. Of course, those people may want to reach for this after spending time in the sun or winter winds. It is still important to hydrate and this works well.
The cream is a creamy white cream that spreads over the face easily but does need some time to fully soak in. It will be a little tacky for about 20 minutes. Just give it some time to absorb so it can moisturize your skin and provide all the nourishment it needs. If you don't have that kind of time, wait as long as you can and then just gently pat the excess off with an ever so slightly damp towel and you will be good to go.

I love the Chasin' Rabbits line. It's new to me but I'm slowly accumulating more of their products. The company approaches skincare responsibly: vegan friendly, cruelty free, and paraben free -- which is a great starting point. This face cream is a probiotic yogurt cream, which has recently fascinated me from a number of skincare lines. I also have their Magic Beauty Shroom adaptogenic elixir for face and body, which is a nice compliment to this face cream. I'm huge fan of probiotics in general -- supplements, greek yogurt, and powder additives for smoothies. I ingest probiotics on a daily basis, so putting it on my skin is a natural progression. And it feels ahhmazing! This cream adds matcha (another great product that I ingest as tea and use in other skincare products), and hemp seed oil which is a bit of a new buzz ingredient in everything from skincare to toothpaste.
The white cream has a light, clean scent and is actually lightweight, but feels much richer on the skin. It absorbs with a dewy moist finish that lasts, and shows immediate effects on skin texture and fine lines. It can be used day or night, and adds layered protection for moisture as well as nourishment of the skin. A very fine company and product line. I won't hesitate to try more of their products.
